Pi day.
Hello Everyone My Name is Vivek Chaturvedi. I am writing a blog about Pi day.

Pi day is observed on 14 March annually and also on this date Albert Einstein was born. It was founded in 1988 by a physicist Larry Shaw. In mid 18th century pi has also been represented by the Greek letter π. Let us study more about pi, its history, invention and some interesting facts about it.
Pi is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and eat pie.
Do you know that Pi is an irrational number i.e. a real number that cannot be expressed by a simple fraction? According to mathematician pi is also known as an infinite decimal which means that after the decimal point, the digits go on forever and ever.
Pi Day: History
In 1988, the earliest known official or large-scale celebration of Pi Day was organized by Larry Shaw at the San Francisco Exploratorium, where Shaw worked as a physicist, with staff and public marching around one of its circular spaces, then consuming fruit pies. The Exploratorium continues to hold Pi Day celebrations.
To approximate circles, the mathematician Archimedes used polygons with many sides and determined that Pi was approximately 22/7. In 1706, the Greek symbol π was first used by William Jones. Do you know that a 'p' was chosen for 'perimeter' of circles and so π became popular and was adopted by the Swiss mathematician Leonard Euler in 1737?
On March 12, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a non-binding resolution (111 H. Res. 224), recognizing March 14, 2009, as National Pi Day. For Pi Day 2010, Google presented a Google Doodle celebrating the holiday, with the word Google laid over images of circles and pi symbols; and for the 30th anniversary in 2018, it was a Dominique Ansel pie with the circumference divided by its diameter.
The entire month of March 2014 (3/14) was observed by some as "Pi Month". In the year 2015, March 14 was celebrated as "Super Pi Day". It had special significance, as the date is written as 3/14/15 in month/day/year format. At 9:26:53, the date and time together represented the first 10 digits of π, and later that second Pi Instant represented all of π's digits.
